Bio

Brandon Benefield is a photographer, videographer and graphic designer based in his hometown of Saint Louis, Mo.

He graduated from John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Ark., with degrees in journalism and in photography.

Brandon photographed for JBU’s student newspaper, The Threefold Advocate, for four years and spent two of those years as the paper’s photo editor. The Threefold Advocate won the Arkansas College Media Association’s first place general excellence award twice in those four years.

Though the majority of his work has been photographic, Brandon is also experienced in collecting and editing video. He enjoys both video production and making still images because they require the same essential element: visual storytelling.

Connecting to an audience through a visual means allows a compelling storyteller to fill the imagination gaps while still impressing a sense of wonder.
